 Implementation of the United States Standards Strategy

In December 2010, the United States Standards Strategy (USSS)- Third Edition was published as a second revision of the National Standards Strategy for the United States (2000). The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is responsible for tracking USSS implementation activities and presenting periodic implementation reports.

This component of the implementation report tracks those organizations who have taken action on specific strategies or tactics within the United States Standards Strategy. Your organization's input is strongly encouraged.

Support and/or endorsement of the United States Standards Strategy

This component of the implementation report tracks those organizations that have taken steps to support or formally endorse the United States Standards Strategy, or otherwise integrate the strategic initiatives of the USSS in their organizational strategic plans.

Support and/or endorsement of the Strategy by members of Congress, top-level government agency officials, industry leaders and others will serve as an additional catalyst to foster the U.S. standardization system and promote U.S. competitiveness in the global marketplace.
