Regional Standing Committee - Asia Pacific
The RSC-Asia Pacific (RSC-AP) was created in an effort to broaden the
participation of ANSI in the development of policy positions regarding regional
standards and conformity assessment activities, and to coordinate U.S.
activities, respond to initiatives and advise ANSI on matters relating to the
Asia Pacific region.
The mission of the RSC-AP is to develop and maintain strategies and goals for
the AP region for the ANSI International Policy Committee (IPC) on an ongoing
basis to achieve objectives such as to:
-
Coordinate and lead outreach visits to countries of interest in the region.

cardinal principles of Openness, Balance, Due Process, and Consensus.

Congress (PASC) meetings and to other policy-level meetings on Asia Pacific

Conformance related to PASC Standing Committee issues, the ASEAN Consultative
Committee for Standards and Quality (ACCSQ), and the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity
