ANSI has announced the schedule of virtual events for World Standards Week (WSW) 2021, which will be celebrated on October 25-29. To assure safe, engaging, and successful events for the U.S. standardization community, ANSI is splitting the WSW 2021 events across fall 2021 (virtual) and spring 2022 (in-person).

The U.S. National Committee (USNC) of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) encourages interested applicants to apply to its USNC Professional Mentoring Program. Individuals who are interested in joining the program, either as a mentor or protégé, are invited to submit a completed application form by Friday, August 13, 2021.
Growth of Low-Speed Automated Driving System technology has been hampered by a lack of international standards defining performance and safety requirements – until now. A new standard has just been published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to help accelerate technological progress in a safe and sustainable way. ANSI is the U.S. member body to ISO.
