Supporting infection control programs and solutions amid the COVID-19 global health crisis, the ANSI
National Accreditation Board (ANAB) has accredited ABM Industries, a leading
provider of facility solutions, for its EnhancedClean™ Training Program, in
accordance with the American National Standard, ANSI/ASTM E2659-18, Standard
Practice for Certificate Programs.
ANSI has released the agenda for its virtual joint meeting of the Organizational Member Forum (OMF) and Company Member Forum (CMF) on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
ANSI's international policy department has released the 2021 first quarter edition of its ANSI in China Newsletter, available in English and Chinese. The quarterly newsletter updates ANSI members on technical activities, policy decisions, trade matters, and other information of interest. The English version of the newsletter is available exclusively to ANSI members and the Chinese version is available online.
Due to the continuing disruptions and uncertainty caused by the ongoing global pandemic, ANSI is extending the deadline for the 2021 Student Paper Competition to June 1, 2021. It is hoped that providing additional time will allow more students to contemplate and engage with ANSI on the very timely and important paper theme: Using Standards in the Global Fight Against COVID-19.
ANSI proudly welcomed 19 new members in March and 11 in April. These organizations joined a federation that represents and serves the diverse interests of more than 270,000 companies and well over 30 million professionals.
