Collaboration for Cyber Safety: Join the Journey to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 Workshop

The one-day virtual workshop on February 15, 2023, will discuss potential updates to the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). The Framework allows organizations—regardless of size, degree of cyber risk, or cybersecurity sophistication—to apply the principles and best practices of risk management to improve the security and resilience of critical infrastructure.

FTC Seeks Comments on Green Guides for the Use of Environmental Marketing Claims

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is seeking feedback on its environmental advertising guidelines, known as the “Green Guides,” to help companies avoid misleading environmental claims about their products, services, and processes. As the request pertains to international laws, regulations, or standards with respect to environmental marketing claims, ANSI encourages relevant stakeholders to respond by the deadline of February 21, 2023.

Building and Fostering Resilience through Accreditation: Join ANAB's January Webinar!

The ANSI National Accreditation Board’s (ANAB) webinar, “Building and Fostering Resilience Through Accreditation,” on January 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET, will define and present elements of organizational resilience and examine how accreditation can provide a foundation upon which to build and foster organizational resilience.

Attention ANSI-Accredited U.S. TAGS to ISO and ISO/IEC

ANSI and its Procedures and Standards Administration (PSA) department wish to remind all ANSI-Accredited U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Administrators to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) activities that a response to the recently distributed e-mail—which contained the 2023 Procedural Compliance Form/2022 TAG Annual Report Notice—must be returned no later than January 31, 2023.

Register for the 2023 ASD Compliance Webinars: 2023 ASD Procedural Compliance Form

ANSI wishes to remind all ANSI-accredited standards developers (ASDs) to register for a 90-minute webinar on the 2023 ASD Procedural Compliance Form and to review the current 2022 edition of the ANSI Essential Requirements. Webinars will be held on January 26, 2023, and on February 9, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET.

ANSI affiliate Workcred is providing updates on its recent webinars, broadcasts, publications, and collaborations to improve the effectiveness of industry certification and certificate/degree (C+D) pathways. Check out updates on research, the Workcred Expert Series broadcast, and more.
