ANSI invites its members to recommend qualified candidates for the 2023 ANSI Board of Directors, the National Policy Advisory Group, the International Policy Advisory Group, the Intellectual Property Rights Policy Advisory Group, and the Committee on Education. Nominations are due July 19. Registration Open and Request for Information: ANSI July 27–29 Workshop on Global Supply Chain Security for Microelectronics Standardization
ANSI opened registration for its July 27-29 workshop on global supply chain security for microelectronics standardization, being held on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense. While in-person participation is strongly encouraged, remote participation is available. Advance registration is requested by July 20.
ANSI has extended the deadline for nominations for ANSI’s 2022 Leadership and Service Awards to accommodate a number of requests from the standardization community. Nominations for 12 categories of awards will be accepted through July 7.
On June 15, ANSI hosted its second virtual meeting with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA). Among other topics, participants discussed potential regulatory changes in conformity assessment that may impact foreign businesses in China and products in the Chinese markets.
People on the Move highlights the career advancements of high-level trail-blazers working professionally in diverse areas of standardization, contributing every day to the strength and success of the U.S. standards and conformance community. In this issue:
