ANSI Accreditation Program for Greenhouse Gas Validation/Verification Bodies

Accreditation for Product Certification Bodies

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredits organizations providing third-party validation and verification of greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions and removals

The ANSI Accreditation Program for Greenhouse Gas Validation/Verification Bodies operates according to ISO 14065:2013, Greenhouse gases- Requirements for greenhouse gas validation and verification bodies for use in accreditation or other forms of recognition. ANSI works with several mandatory and voluntary GHG programs in implementing its program. In addition, ANSI is exploring the expansion of its program to include validation and verification of other types of environmental information. Please contact us for more information or join our LinkedIn group to receive information and updates.

ANSI has expanded its program to support the implementation of the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA). For more information, please see the ANSI Notice on CORSIA.
