Increased non-dues revenue and satisfied members are two keys to an organization’s long-term health. ANSI can help you achieve both.

Join the many members of the global standards and conformity assessment community who have taken advantage of opportunities to deliver enhanced value, increase member satisfaction and generate additional revenue through ANSI’s on-site and customized training options.

Instructor-led courses and seminars can be conducted on-site and in conjunction with committee meetings, annual or regional conferences and other sponsored events, or delivered online in full-day and half day formats.

On-Site Training

With ANSI on-site training, we supply the program and instructor; you provide the students. Host a course in conjunction with other relevant events to minimize expense and maximize attendance.

The course sponsor arranges for ANSI to present a session for a specific target audience (i.e., the staff of a standards department or members of a particular committee). ANSI will work with the course sponsor to identify issues or topics to be emphasized during the seminar.

The course sponsor provides the training facility including training room, A/V equipment and coffee breaks as appropriate. The course sponsor may produce training materials from an ANSI master or arrange for ANSI to provide course workbooks (priced on a per-unit basis). The sponsor also reimburses all direct expenses of the ANSI trainer, including transportation, meals and overnight lodging (as appropriate).

There is a minimum fee charged for each session, plus reimbursement of direct expenses. Discounts are available for class sizes of ten (10) or more. Contact ANSI education and training services for more information.

Customized Courses

Organizations may contract with ANSI Information and Education Services to develop a course for use within their particular organization. An advantage to this arrangement is that the organization has control over the format, length and content of the course.

Time spent on development of a customized course will be billed at a rate of $150 per hour. A proposal, including an estimate of hours required for the project, will be developed by ANSI and submitted for approval by the course sponsor.

The following rates apply for all customized courses:

The fee for ANSI members is capped at $4,000 for full-day sessions and $3,000 for half-day sessions. There are no caps for ANSI non-members.

Minimum fees apply, plus reimbursement for direct expenses, including transportation, meals and overnight lodging (as appropriate).

A course sponsor may elect to have a customized course offered on more than one occasion over an extended period of time.

The course sponsor may produce training materials from an ANSI master or arrange for ANSI to provide course workbooks (priced on a per-unit basis).

Ownership of customized courses shall remain with ANSI Information and Education Services.

Contact ANSI education and training services for more information.

On-Site Licenses/Train-the-Trainer

Organizations may purchase an annual site license to give a course within their organization using the organization’s own trainer(s). One major advantage to the site license arrangement is that the license allows an organization to subsequently incorporate its own material into the course, individualizing it to reflect unique standardization strategies and goals.

The annual site license entitles an organization to receive either:

a)  an electronic version of the course for fees of:

  License Fee Per Student Fee
Full-Day Session $3,000 $160
Half-Day Session $2,500 $110

Or

b) hard copy of a course manual priced on a sliding scale (see chart below) plus appropriate license fee:

  License Fee Per student
1-50 Students
Per student
51-125 Students
Per student
126-200 Students
Per student
201+ Students
Full-Day Session $3,000 $225 $200 $175 $125
Half-Day Session $2,500 $160 $135 $110 $85

The course sponsor may produce training materials from the ANSI master or arrange for ANSI to provide course workbooks (priced on a per-unit basis).

If a company has purchased a site license it may also arrange to hire an ANSI trainer to present the course for an additional fee (plus reimbursement for direct expenses, including transportation, meals and overnight lodging (as appropriate)).
