The different abilities and needs of people across the country have led to a myriad of accessibility issues and requirements in every industry. From technologies that are user-friendly for the deaf and blind communities, to physical environments that are accessible to persons with physical disabilities, to products that can be easily used by the elderly, accessibility solutions allow for the greatest number of people to enjoy many aspects of everyday life that may otherwise be unmanageable. Standards have a critical influence on accessibility across all industries and around the globe.
The Capitol Hill event will be held in the Cannon House Office Building Caucus Room on September 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A simple lunch will be served. To download the event flyer, click here.
