This proposed activity would offer broad, coordinated guidance to human resources practitioners and harmonize disparate practices for the benefit of organizations and their employees. Its scope includes organizational policies, practices, and systems that influence employee's behavior, attitudes, and performances.
International standards developed under this activity would codify organizational guidelines, processes, policies, practices, services, and systems for the human resources management field associated with all sectors and industries where human labor is applied. The terms "human capital" or "personnel" also fit within the scope of these standards.
All comments should be sent to Steven P. Cornish, ANSI senior director for international policy (email@example.com). Feedback received by the August 20 deadline will be reviewed and compiled for the recommended ANSI position and comments, which will then be presented to the ANSI ISO Council (AIC) for formal approval.
