The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will host a one-day seminar on the American National Standard (ANS) development process and procedures on March 8, 2017, from 8:30 am-4 pm EST at ANSI's New York office. Participants who enroll in The American Way: The American National Standard (ANS) Development Process will learn why U.S. voluntary consensus standards are important, discover ANSI's role in the U.S. standardization system, and get an overview of different types of accreditation.
The course is intended for staff from standards developing organizations who administer the American National Standards process. The course also provides a good starting point for those who are considering becoming an ANSI-accredited standards developer.
