The American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the U.S. member body to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is seeking expert participants on behalf of ISO Technical Committee (TC) 232, Education and Learning Services. All U.S. stakeholder organizations in relevant fields and industries are strongly encouraged to get involved by December 27, 2019.
ISO/TC 232 recently expanded its scope to cover all standardization activities for education and learning, to include pre-K, primary, secondary, tertiary, career/continuing education, and other fields. In addition, the ISO Central Secretariat has assigned the maintenance, review, and potential revision of ISO 21001:2018, Educational organizations Management systems for educational organizations Requirements with Guidance for Use, to ISO/TC 232.
At its plenary meeting in September 2019, ISO/TC 232 approved Resolution 16/2019 to create a new ad-hoc group (AHG4), entitled "auditing guidance for ISO 21001."
Given the expanded scope, the U.S. TAG is seeking additional participants to support the work of TC 232. Prospective U.S. TAG participants for ISO TC 232 or those seeking more information can contact the U.S. TAG administrator, Ms. Ashley Wiand, at firstname.lastname@example.org, and the U.S. TAG Chair, Dr. Bill Rivers, at email@example.com.
