ANSI Launches New Accreditation Services Website at ansiaccreditation.org

11/12/2015

User-Friendly Site Offers Easy Access to Accreditation Resource

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has launched a new accreditation services website, www.ansiaccreditation.org, designed to serve as a central resource for those seeking information on ANSI's wide range of accreditation services. The new site provides fast, easy access to key content on ANSI's broad portfolio of accreditation programs, comprehensive accreditation directories for each program, and up-to-date information on ANSI workshops, news, and events.

ANSI's third-party accreditation services include programs for product and personnel certification bodies, education and training certificate-issuing bodies, and organizations providing certification services related to various areas of environmental management. ANSI is also the sole accreditor of standards developers that sponsor American National Standards, and of Technical Advisory Groups that formulate U.S. positions in relation to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) activities. The new website details how federal, state, and local authorities, in addition to certification scheme owners, increasingly rely on ANSI accreditation to demonstrate value and assure competency for important public priorities.

A thorough revamp of ANSI's previous accreditation website, www.ansiaccreditation.org offers a number of significant enhancements, including:

  • A new "Who's Accredited" tab, providing easy access to accreditation directories for each ANSI accreditation program

  • Reorganized and improved navigation

  • Streamlined content that is easier to read and understand

  • A modern aesthetic in line with ANSI's updated direction for website design

"We are excited to improve this reference for enhanced use as a lever to lift understanding and knowledge in the marketplace," said Lane Hallenbeck, vice president of accreditation services. "The new accreditation site will improve the experience for existing and potential customers who will have an efficient space for need-to-know offerings and resources."
