The USNC is the United States' official IEC representative and participates in about 90% of the IEC's more than 175 Technical Committees (TCs) and Subcommittees (SCs). The USNC maintains focused standing committees to each IEC conformity assessment group, allowing for the effective development of U.S. viewpoints and comments on all matters pertaining to IECEE, IECEx, and IECQ.
