TIA Premieres Documentary on Connectivity Challenges for the Internet of Things
The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, recently premiered a documentary on the challenges, opportunities, and issues of connectivity as it relates to the internet of things (IoT). IoT is the internetworking of buildings, vehicles, and other physical items that are embedded with electronics and sensors, allowing them to collect and exchange data.
"The Internet of Things: Connecting it All" examines the communications ecosystem as it will face up to 30 billion connected devices in the coming years. Executives from leading companies including Verizon, Cisco, Telit, and SAP weigh in on the IoT questions that businesses face, providing guidance on how to leverage this transformation of the communication ecosystem.
