Get Involved: U.S. TAG on Project, Program, and Portfolio Management Seeks Members

7/02/2020

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the U.S. member body to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), encourages experts to participate on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (U.S. TAG) for ISO Technical Committee (TC) 258 on Project, Program, and Portfolio Management. Representatives from industry, government, consumer groups, labor groups, academic and research bodies, standards application, and non-governmental organizations are invited to get involved.

The request stems from the need to be prepared with relevant U.S. experts to support and help lead an expected increase in the activities of ISO TC 258 going forward. To date, this ISO committee has published seven standards or other documents. Subject matter experts (SMEs) from industry are particularly desired to achieve a balanced, diverse pool of expertise within the U.S TAG to support the committee's technical activities.

Participation in the U.S. TAG to ISO TC 258 carries with it significant benefits for active members, including involvement in the development of the official U.S. position for a standard or other ISO deliverable. Members have the opportunity to work with and build relationships with other SMEs from the U.S. and internationally in developing standards, comment and vote on draft standards, and represent the U.S. at meetings across the world.

Interested stakeholders are urged to contact the U.S. TAG administrator, Lorna Scheel, ([email protected]), by August 31 to indicate interest or for more information.
