ANSI and SES to Hold Webinar on IEC Conformity Assessment Programs on April 16

3/21/2014
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and ANSI member and accredited standards developer SES - The Society for Standards Professionals have announced that they will co-host a webinar examining the organizational structure of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Conformity Assessment Programs, as well as the programs' operational details and related tools. The webinar, which will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, will be overseen by Timothy Duffy, senior manager of conformity assessment for ANSI company member Rockwell Automation.

During the webinar, Mr. Duffy will outline approaches to international market entry for multinational corporations that reduce the risk that repeat testing will be required for each market a product or service is sold in. The event will focus on available tools for the management of certifications and conformity assessments in connection with their potential to improve efficient, cost-effective access to global markets.

The webinar is offered free of charge to all current SES members and all ANSI full member technical contacts; all other participants are required to pay a $50 fee. Online registration is required to take part in the webinar. For more information about the webinar, visit SES's website.
