Ms. Yung has been with CSA Group since 2005, most recently holding the role of vice president, deputy general counsel. Her work with the group includes high profile projects in M&A, litigation management, new business risk assessments, asset purchase, and divestitures. She has also assumed various leadership roles in Europe. Previously, Ms. Yung was on the legal team at Imperial Oil.

"I am very proud to be working with Kathryn in her new role" says David Weinstein, president and CEO of CSA Group. "In her 12 years with CSA Group, she has successfully navigated through complex and difficult assignments. Heading towards our 100th anniversary, this leadership experience is essential as we evolve and set up our organization for future success."

The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has announced that Vicki Loise is its new chief executive officer. In this role, Ms. Loise will guide the organization in fulfilling its mission and lead its professional team, as well as oversee its business operations.

Prior to joining SLAS, Ms. Loise was vice president, association management, at Kellen, an association management firm. There, she provided guidance and strategic planning to international societies, and directed business development efforts for client societies to increase their revenues and raise awareness. Previously, she was executive director for the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).

"I'm thrilled to serve as CEO of SLAS," said Ms. Loise. "With a foundation that's firmly established and a clear vision forward thanks to the efforts of the Board of Directors, exceptional volunteers, and professional team, I believe SLAS is poised for significant growth. I look forward to facilitating that growth, resulting in increased value for our membership, vendor partners, and the life sciences discovery and technology community across the globe."
