On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. ET, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will host a WebEx meeting intended for relevant U.S. stakeholders to discuss the possible formation of a U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to support U.S. national consensus-based participation in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) activity on pharmaceutical preparation machinery. As the U.S. member body to ISO, ANSI invites all relevant and interested stakeholders to participate.
Recently, ISO circulated a proposal for a new field of activity on pharmaceutical preparation machinery, which was submitted by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC). The proposal details intentions to develop international standards in order to meet the needs of international trade of preparation machinery manufacturers in various countries.
