Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), which is leading several countries and organizations to restrict travel and meetings, COPANT president, Ricardo Fragoso, and COPANT authorities will suspend the general assembly meeting scheduled for April 26-29, 2020, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
COPANT will postpone the event date until the first week of November 2020. The association has announced to constituents that they will closely monitor events and developments of the health crisis before confirming the date.
COPANT is the reference for technical standardization and conformity assessment for the countries of the Americas for its members and international peers, and promotes the development of its members.
