The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) welcomes Kelley Cox as director of business and membership development. In this position, Ms. Cox will identify new business and membership opportunities, and build sustainable relationships with key partners for the Institute's intermediate and long-term growth.
Ms. Cox has extensive professional experience in all facets of business development, membership, and marketing. Most recently, she served as the executive director of business development at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she was in charge of developing mutually beneficial partnerships and alliances with companies and organizations resulting in new revenues and membership. She was the senior manager of flight operations at American Airlines for nine years. She also served two years at Aviem International and the Family Assistance Foundation as vice president of sales and marketing, and director of operations.
ANSI is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance U.S. global competitiveness and the American quality of life by promoting, facilitating, and safeguarding the integrity of the voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system. The Institute represents the diverse interests of more than 125,000 companies and organizations and 3.5 million professionals worldwide.
