ANSI Releases Latest Issue of ANSI in China Newsletter

English version is available exclusively to ANSI members

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) international policy department has released the first quarter 2017 edition of its ANSI in China Newsletter, a resource for updates on technical activities, policy decisions, trade matters, and other information of interest to ANSI members operating in or interacting with China. The English version of the newsletter is available exclusively to ANSI members here, while the Chinese version is available publicly here.

The ANSI in China newsletter in Mandarin Chinese has content targeted toward a China-based audience of both ANSI members and partner organizations. Past issues are publicly available here. The English version contains content targeted toward a U.S.-based audience. The debut edition of the English version, first published in 2015, is publicly available here, while all subsequent editions are available to ANSI members only.

Headlines from the latest English version include:

  • Standardization reform updates, including China's National Standardization Working Conference.

  • Updates on standards development activities and policies in China, including the release of the Antitrust Guidelines on the Abuse of Intellectual Property Rights.

  • Chinese government policy updates, including the release of China's new policy on increased openness to foreign investment.
