Attention ANSI-Accredited U.S. TAGs: 2013 Annual Reports and Procedural Compliance Forms Due by January 31, 2014

12/23/2013
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and its Procedures and Standards Administration (PSA) department wish to remind all ANSI-Accredited U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Administrators to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that a response to the email that contained the 2014 Procedural Compliance Form/2013 TAG Annual Report Notice must be submitted no later than January 31, 2014, to the ANSI PSA department ([email protected]).

Individuals requiring additional time to respond are required to request an extension by sending an email to [email protected]; failure to submit by the deadline may jeopardize your organization's status as an ANSI-Accredited U.S. TAG and TAG Administrator. For your reference, a full list of ANSI-Accredited U.S. TAGs to ISO can be accessed at www.ansi.org/isotags.

2014 Procedural Compliance Email/2013 TAG Annual Report
"By seeking and maintaining ANSI-accredited status, an organization chooses to publicly commit to an open, equitable, and accessible consensus process that ensures due process and benefits the public interest," explained Lane Hallenbeck, ANSI vice president of accreditation services. "The 2014 ISO TAG Annual Compliance Form email is now combined with the 2013 TAG Annual Reporting format and so it is designed to facilitate the annual compliance notification process and the ISO TAG Annual Report submission."

Before submitting the 2014 Procedural Compliance email, please review the 2013 edition of the ANSI International Procedures (www.ansi.org/internationalprocedures), which remains in effect. No revisions to the ANSI International Procedures were approved in 2013. If necessary, TAG administrators may submit revised procedures for re-accreditation to the ANSI PSA department ([email protected]). Revised procedures are to be submitted in strike-through and underline format with an explanation of all changes. Questions about the compliance process and/or the TAG Annual Report submission process may be sent to [email protected]. Individuals submitting completed forms will receive an acknowledgement email within two weeks; please keep this receipt for your records.
