New York, Sep 12, 2005

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) announces an important VENUE CHANGE for two events on October 6 during World Standards Week 2005 in Washington, DC.

The ANSI Annual Conference, "From A to Veeck: Standardization and the Law," and the Accreditation of Personnel Conference: "Facilitating trade in services around the world," will now be held at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC. (Other ANSI meetings and events scheduled at the Marriott at Metro Center remain the same.)

The JW Marriott is conveniently located at 1331 Pennsylvania Ave NW, across the street from the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, the location of the 2005 U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day exhibits, reception and dinner the evening of October 6.

For those guests staying at the Marriott at Metro Center, the hotel will provide a shuttle service to the events at the JW.
