Contributing to the growth in membership was the introduction of a new Full Membership promotion that ran for several months in the second half of 2009. 16 new members joined ANSI and three existing members upgraded to full membership as a result of this campaign. The Institute is pleased to announce that the Full Membership promotion has been extended to March 31, 2010, providing prospective members with a few more weeks to take advantage of this special offer. Joining ANSI as a full member provides greater access to the Institute’s valuable products and services, empowering organizations with a voice and influence over the standardization and conformity assessment decisions that directly affect their business. “In today’s challenging economic climate, the Institute has been dedicated to making it easier for all interested organizations to become full ANSI members,” said Brian Meincke, ANSI senior director of membership development. “A number of our new members in 2009 joined us through this promotion, and we hope to see continued participation through the campaign in the coming months.”
