ANSI Releases Anniversary Poster to Illustrate 100 Years of Standardization

5/29/2018

Calling all standards aficionados: As part of its centennial celebration this year, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released its commemorative poster that reflects the Institute's leadership and its evolution as coordinator of the U.S. voluntary standards and conformance system to support a stronger nation and safer world.

The poster, available on the ANSI webstore, is a reproduction of the 3D art piece that was unveiled by ANSI president S. Joe Bhatia earlier this month at the official 100th anniversary celebration in Washington, DC. The commissioned artwork was created by Lawrence Romorini of One Of A Kind, Inc. Art Studio, and reflects a century of standardization through artifacts, membership tributes, and industry publications through the decades. Beginning at the top and moving counterclockwise, significant moments in ANSI's history are captured through objects, images, and reproductions.

The 24 x 36" poster version of the artwork is $20.18 including shipping to any U.S. mailing address. The poster will ship with a letter-size paper packet that contains a complete key for more information about each item included in the art piece.

More pictures of the artwork are available to view greater detail.
