ANSI Member Briefings Webinar Series Announced

First Webinar to Highlight ANSI Member Activities in China

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is pleased to announce the first in a series of webinars featuring targeted activities of interest to ANSI members. Offered free of charge, the webinar series will highlight the diverse range of programs and services available through ANSI membership. The briefing program is intended to promote active participation and help members get the most value out of their membership.

The ANSI Manufacturer Member Roundtable in China provides a forum for manufacturing companies to discuss challenges and strategies, exchange information across industry sectors, and provide perspectives on issues that affect their ability to do business in China.

The Roundtable serves the broader ANSI membership by providing frontline insights and early warning on developments in China related to standards and conformance and trade. For more information, view the China Roundtable Wiki or read the Roundtable flyer.

The ANSI Regional Standing Committee - Asia Pacific (RSC-AP) is one of three Regional Standing Committees coordinated by ANSI's International Policy Committee to broaden the participation of ANSI federation members in key regional activities around the world.

The series will open on April 13, 2011, with a webinar highlighting ANSI activities in China, including the work of the ANSI Manufacturer Member Roundtable in China and the ANSI Regional Standing Committee - Asia Pacific (RSC-AP).

The April 13 webinar will be led by ANSI director of international development Elise Owen, who lead's ANSI's China program. Register here for the April 13 free webinar.

"The ANSI Member Briefings series offers an opportunity to learn more about the breadth of programs and services available through ANSI membership," said Brian Meincke, ANSI senior director of membership development, membership marketing, and industry outreach.

"I encourage all members to take part in the webinar series and learn how they can make the most of their ANSI membership."

The April 13 webinar will be held at 2:00 p.m. eastern, and will run approximately one hour.
