Registration Open: Understanding the Requirements and Concepts of ISO/IEC 17065

12/18/2019

Course is April 15-16 at ANSI Headquarters in Washington, DC

Registration is open for a two-day workshop at American National Standards Institute (ANSI) headquarters on April 15-16, 2020 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in Washington DC, to highlight conformity assessment concepts for the certification of products, processes, and services as defined in ISO/IEC 17065, Conformity Assessment- Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes, and services.

Representatives of corporations, organizations, scheme owners, government agencies, and others who operate product/process/services certification programs or who wish to learn more about the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) accreditation process are invited to enroll. Discussions will focus on building an understanding of the standard's requirements, its benefits, and why it has become the international benchmark for product certification.

Participants will review the accreditation requirements of ISO/IEC 17065; define terminology and identify documents, best practices, and other resources that can be helpful in building an understanding of the standard; identify what content (including types of documents and data) may be helpful in demonstrating compliance with each requirement, and how this content is reviewed during an assessment; and other essential topics related to the standard.

Register for the event, or get more information on this course. For any questions, contact Reinaldo Figueiredo, senior program director of product, process, and services accreditation programs at ANAB, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANSI: [email protected].
