The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has announced that it is now an approved U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Service (FSS) vendor, allowing GSA customers to receive special discounts when purchasing standards from the ANSI eStandards Store (

GSA’s Federal Supply Service provides a source for virtually every commercial product or service a federal agency might need. GSA Advantage!® is the online shopping and ordering system that provides access to thousands of contractors and millions of services and products. ANSI is now offering GSA Advantage customers discounts ranging from 2% to 21.25% off select collections of standards available on the eStandards Store when they use their GSA SmartPay® card; this program allows the customer the convenience of automatically receiving the discount when using a valid SmartPay® card without having to first link to the GSA Advantage site.

The ANSI eStandards Store is an online electronic standards web-based ordering and delivery system, with an inventory of more than 70,000 domestic, regional and international standards. Customers can purchase standards online with a major credit card and have the option of immediate or delayed (within seven days) download of purchased standards. Deposit Accounts are also available to facilitate single-copy purchases via the Electronic Standards Store

ANSI's annual eSubscription service allows users to be alerted to, and have instant access to, new standards and revisions of existing standards as soon as they become available. The eSubscription may be customized from an inventory of thousands of documents or a user may select from many pre-defined packages of standards.

The GSA Advantage discount is available only to ANSI’s online customers. For more information, please contact ANSI’s customer service (; 212.642.4980). To learn more about the GSA Advantage, or to become a member, please visit
