The Institute’s newest executive was appointed by ANSI president and CEO, Dr. Mark W. Hurwitz, CAE, following an intensive nationwide search; she will join ANSI staff in the New York office on July 1, 2004.

“Peggy is an experienced and well-qualified chief financial officer and administrator,” Dr. Hurwitz stated. “She has very strong credentials and a long, successful track record in both for-profit and not-for-profit business settings. We look forward to her insights and leadership as a member of the ANSI management team.”

“I am delighted to be joining ANSI at this time,” commented the new CFO, “I look forward to working with the members and staff to continue the Institute’s recent trends of expansion and growth.”

Ms. Jensen earned her MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently received her Certificate in Professional Accountancy, with honors, from the Northwestern University Graduate School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College. In addition to being a CPA, she is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Internal Auditor.
