Virtual Workshop Available on the ANSI Essential Requirements and 2004 Compliance Form

New York, Feb 06, 2004

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is extending assistance to ANSI-accredited standards developers and their staff to help them meet the March 15 deadline for completion and return of the 2004 Compliance Form by offering a virtual workshop/forum on 2004 ANS Procedures and Compliance. Scheduled for March 4, 12 noon-2 pm EST, this special education session will help participants determine whether or not revisions to their procedures are necessary.

Conducted via the Internet and telephone (no special software is required), the session will be facilitated by an ANSI instructor and will include ANSI procedures and standards administration staff members. The customized program will be designed around key questions submitted prior to the session, and participants will also have any opportunity to ask additional questions during the workshop. This web-based education session is targeted for ANSI-accredited standards developers who are looking for additional guidance on how to comply with ANS forms and procedures, and does not replace other ANSI instructor-led courses.

Workshop topics plan to address what effect the Essential Requirements document has on users of ANSI's model procedures and what is required of ANSI accredited standards developers in response to the 2004 Compliance Form.

Participation will be limited to the first 15 people who register to allow for optimum participant interaction. Early registration is $125. For more information, please contact Pamela Suett in Education & Training, or click here for information on ANSI virtual workshops.
