ANAB and IAAR Invite Input to All-Stakeholder Survey
Does accredited certification meet the needs of consumers of the products and services offered by certified companies? In hopes of finding out, the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board and the Independent Association of Accredited Registrars (IAAR) have launched a stakeholder survey for the management systems conformity assessment industry.

The objective of the survey is to gain feedback on accredited third-party management systems conformity assessment from all stakeholders for knowledge and improvement. Respondent categories include accreditation bodies (AB), certification bodies (CB), certified companies, regulatory bodies, trade associations, certified company customers, and consumers of certified companies' products. Areas of inquiry include the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), ABs (including assessors), CBs (including auditors), certified companies, training providers, and consultants. The survey is being managed through Isometric Solutions.

While ANAB routinely surveys the certification bodies it accredits and IAAR-member certification bodies survey their clients, this survey is an attempt to get feedback from those who rely on accredited third-party conformity assessment. Survey results will be used to build knowledge and as a basis for continual improvement.

The survey is available on ANAB's website at www.anab.org.
