The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has announced the dates for World Standards Week (WSW) 2015, which will be held September 28 - October 2, 2015, in Washington, DC.

WSW is the U.S. standards and conformance community's major annual event. Hosted each year by ANSI - coordinator of the U.S. standardization system - the event is designed to foster open exchange among various types of standard-setting and conformity assessment/compliance organizations who are working in close partnership with government and industry in nearly every sector and product line.

Comprising multiple meetings and conferences, this weeklong series of events brings together over 300 departmental and agency officials, industry leaders, consumer advocates, academics, and standardization executives from across the country.

The full schedule of events is forthcoming and will be posted on www.ansi.org/wsweek once it is available.

Sponsorship opportunities will also available at a variety of levels for companies and organizations wishing to show their valuable support for the voluntary standardization community.
