Special Notice: ANSI Upgrade of Document Library System

New York, Jun 28, 2006

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is in the process of upgrading its document library system. The transition to a new version of the document management software will begin at the close of business on Wednesday, June 28, and continue over the next several days. During this time, there will be limited posting of new documents to the library, but users will continue to have access to their documents of interest.

On July 5, members of ANSI committees and other users will begin to access documents within the new version of the document library. Some links or bookmarked pages will need to be updated to point to the migrated files in the new version. ANSI will be working to update all relevant links in ANSI Online as quickly as possible.

“We are committed to providing ANSI's members, customers and other users with technology that supports their needs and activities,” said Ken Peabody, ANSI’s director of content management. “We anticipate that this transition will be a smooth one.”

Questions regarding the transition may be directed to Mr. Peabody (kpeabody@ansi.org; 212-642-8908).
