Redesigned ANSI Online Website Debuts January 2, 2003

New York, Jan 02, 2003

Today, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) proudly announces the relaunch of its website, ANSI Online (www.ansi.org). “A new and improved design and navigational structure enhances the ‘user experience’ with ANSI and permits the Institute to better serve its members and constituents,” report organization officials. Enhanced features will also promote enhanced collaboration and communication among ANSI's members.

Registered users of the new site received a unique log-on ID and password via e-mail in mid-December. A new security system will help to ensure that only authorized users can view certain documents available via the site’s comprehensive document management system. The system can provide log-on or password information to those who have misplaced or forgotten theirs. “Help” and “Frequently Asked Questions” pages, accessible via the site's main navigation, and a separate “Help” section provided via the document management application, will also assist in addressing common issues.

“Simply log-in and discover the enhancements and changes of the new site,” encouraged Greg Fine, ANSI director of membership.

The ANSI membership team strongly encourages members and constituents to explore the site and provide feedback regarding their experience. Feedback may be provided to ANSI by following the links on the “Contact Us” page of the new site.

Questions about the log-on process, additional member log-on IDs, or general membership inquiries may be directed to the ANSI Membership Team.
