4/18/2016

April 25 Event Requires Advance Registration

On April 25, 2016, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will host the event "Sino-U.S. Cooperation and the Internationalization of Standardization: Policy Updates and Opportunities." The event will run 11a.m.- 4p.m. ET and take place at the FHI Conference Center in Washington, DC. All ANSI members are invited to attend. The event is free, with advance registration required.

The event will feature a presentation on China's standardization reform by a high-level delegation from the Standardization Administration of China (SAC). ANSI has recently confirmed additional U.S. stakeholder presentations. An updated agenda is available on the event page.

ANSI is proud to offer its members this opportunity to engage key decision-makers involved in the implementation of China's standardization reform. The event will offer an opportunity to learn the latest updates on the reform and its expected impact, and share best practices and priority issues.

Members are also reminded of the April 21, 2016, deadline to submit comments on the draft revised China Standardization Law [see related article]. ANSI has recently finalized its comments, available to view here.
