ANSI Teams with EXCEL Partnership to Offer Management Systems Training

New York, Nov 30, 2005

For more than 85 years, the American National Standards Institute has delivered education and training services to meet the needs of its members, constituents, and the broader voluntary consensus standardization community. Traditionally, the Institute has provided training where expertise exists based on its unique mission: to enhance both the global competitiveness of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life by promoting and facilitating voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems, and safeguarding their integrity.

In cooperation with EXCEL Partnership, Inc., an industry leader in training and consulting for business process improvement, ANSI has recently expanded its inventory of training programs to include coursework in the area of management systems standards. Building upon current courses for the personnel credentialing community, ANSI is now offering courses via EXCEL Partnership on environmental management, information security, and risk assessment and risk analysis for medical devices.

“The Institute is committed to serving the training needs of our members and constituents,” said ANSI president and CEO Mark W. Hurwitz. “Strategic partnerships enable ANSI to combine our own broad suite of education products and training programs with the extensive experience and resources of highly regarded third-party organizations such as EXCEL Partnership.”
