2003-2004 ANSI Annual Report Now Available

New York, Oct 12, 2004

The 2003-2004 Annual Report from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is now available.

For the first time, this report has been designed to span two calendar years. The new format permits ANSI to align the written presentation of accomplishments with the report to members delivered at the Institute's annual business meeting.

Titled A Value Proposition, the 2003-2004 Annual Report highlights the Institute's successes made possible through the ongoing support and commitment to voluntary standardization demonstrated by its diverse membership. It documents ANSI’s achievements and financial activities, highlighting the Institute’s outreach efforts in various regions and sectors of the world, continued partnerships with government agencies and industry, the implementation of an improved membership structure, expansion of conformity assessment programs, and enhanced electronic services.

"These are but a few of ANSI's many ongoing initiatives," said Dr. Mark W. Hurwitz, ANSI president and CEO. "From this overview, however, you can see that the American National Standards Institute is immersed in an exciting tide of change."

Copies of the report were mailed directly to ANSI member contacts this week. Additional copies are available upon request to the ANSI Public Relations team (tel: 212-642-4890; email: The 2003-2004 Annual Report is also available in an electronic format [click here or on the image above to download].
