ANSI National Accreditation Board Seeks Nominees for Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC)

The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), a wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), is seeking nominees to serve on its Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC). Nominations must be received by Thursday, September 12, 2019, and are for three-year terms beginning January 1, 2020.

The PCAC Nominations Committee seeks national experts with broad experience in the fields of personnel certification, accreditation, and policy development. Although all individuals with relevant experience and knowledge are welcome to apply, individuals with a focus in the following areas are encouraged to submit:

  • Psychometrics
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Government

Specific duties of committee membership include: creating recommended policies and procedures for the Personnel Certification Accreditation Program, determining the accreditation status of certification bodies that have applied for initial accreditation or are undergoing their annual surveillance accreditation process, and providing input and advice to ANAB staff regarding operational issues.
