The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has announced two additions to their senior staff.
Sean Robertson is ACCA's new vice president of membership and business operations. In this role, he will lead ACCA's membership recruitment and member services, guiding them to more directly serve the needs of ACCA member contractors through refocused product development, business and technical training programs, contractor accreditation, and events.
Mr. Robertson joins ACCA after more than 15 years leading advocacy and member engagement operations at the Alzheimer's Association, the Land Trust Alliance, and the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. Mr. Robertson is experienced in peer-to-peer engagement, coordination of chapter networks, and personalized recognition, improving membership and advocacy engagement in each of his prior positions.
Todd Washam has been named ACCA's vice president of public policy and industry relations. He will oversee the organization's public policy, political action campaigns, communications, and corporate program.
Mr. Washam joined ACCA in 2016, most recently serving as director of industry and external relations. He managed ACCA's state and intergovernmental relations and activities, and served as the organization's chief spokesperson. Previously, Mr. Washam managed the energy and environment legislative portfolio and foreign policy and infrastructure issues for Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI), and worked for Congressman Henry J. Hyde (R-IL) on the House International Relations Committee.
