The National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) has announced the promotion of Mark Reedenauer to president and executive director. Prior to this promotion, Mr. Reedenauer served as NMEA's managing director, overseeing the organization's daily operations and serving as the liaison between NMEA members and the marine industry. He has also served as the organization's documentation specialist, in charge of all NMEA technical standards and the Marine Electronics Installer Program.

NMEA, a member and accredited standards developer of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), is a membership organization that strives to enhance the technology and safety of electronics used in marine applications.

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Woodworth as vice president of communications and community engagement.
