People on the Move highlights the career advancements of high-level trailblazers working professionally in diverse areas of standardization, contributing every day to the strength and success of the U.S. standards and conformance community.

The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), a member and accredited standards developer of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has appointed Beth Taylor as its new chief financial officer.

Ms. Taylor has 30 years of experience in financial management and nonprofit administration, most recently at the American Marketing Association (AMA), where she served as chief operations officer. There, she led the organization in meeting its financial, human capital, and operational objectives. Ms. Taylor managed organization restructure in line with AMA's strategic plan, and implemented a new financial reporting and budgeting tool. Previously, she was AMA's chief financial officer.

"Beth's extensive strategic and financial skills will be an enormous benefit in helping to lead PCI in meeting our goals," said Bob Risser, PCI's president and chief executive officer. "Her business knowledge will ensure our place at the top of professional organizations. We welcome Beth to our team and look forward to her contributions."

Battery Council International (BCI), an ANSI member, has announced that Lisa Dry is its new director of strategic communications. In this role, Ms. Dry will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and reporting of the Advancing Lead Batteries Communications Initiative. This campaign aims to educate stakeholders about the importance of lead batteries and the need for investment in sustainable battery technologies.

Previously, Ms. Dry was the senior director of communications for the American Chemistry Council (ACC), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer. While at ACC, she provided strategic communications guidance for the organization and was the media spokesperson for the Chemical Product and Technology Division. Ms. Dry was also the principal of Dry Strategies, which offered strategic planning, editorial services, media training, and issue management to biotechnology clients.
