IDSP Considers Scope of Future Work

IDSP logo With the January 31, 2008, release of its report on identity theft prevention standards and best practices, the Identity Theft Prevention and Identity Management Standards Panel (IDSP) has fulfilled its original charter. The Panel is now exploring how it might continue to address these issues with the ongoing support of issue stakeholders.

Accordingly, a survey has been prepared to gauge stakeholder interest in facilitating forward movement on the Panel’s recommendations, exploring new areas of work, enhancing the Panel’s standards inventory, and continuing the Panel as a forum for information-sharing and cross-sector dialogue. Responses will be accepted until March 21, 2008.

Interested stakeholders are also invited to participate in a conference call on March 4, 2008, at 2 p.m. EST for an initial discussion of these issues. The draft agenda and supporting documents for that call are available in the IDSP document library. To access the call, dial:
