World Standards Week 2017 and U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day Sponsorship Opportunities Available!

9/18/2017

Sponsorship opportunities are still available at a variety of levels for World Standards Week 2017, which will take place from October 16-20 in Washington DC. Companies and organizations that support the voluntary standardization community can view the sponsorship opportunities available on ANSI's website.

WSW is an ANSI-hosted annual event designed to inspire open dialogue about developments and challenges related to standardization and conformity assessment, highlighted in a broad array of sessions and conferences.

The series of events brings together departmental and agency officials, industry leaders, consumer advocates, academics, and standardization executives from across the globe. ANSI's WSW is the premiere annual event for the standardization community with nearly 400 individuals participating across the week of events.

The full schedule of events is posted on www.ansi.org/wsweek, along with the full list of sponsorship opportunities: ANSI's sponsorship page.

U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day 2017 Sponsorships

Separate sponsorships are also available for the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day exhibition, reception and dinner. The U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day (WSD), an event intended to raise awareness of the importance of global standardization to the world economy and to promote its role in helping meet the needs of business, industry, government, and consumers worldwide, will be held on Thursday, October 19.

The event is co-chaired each year by ANSI and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) will serve as Administrating Organization for the 2017 event. This year the event theme will be "Smart Health," and will highlight the role of standards in using intelligent systems to improve the quality and delivery of healthcare in a more integrated, focused approach.
