ANSI Members and Other Interested Parties Reminded to Return HSSP Survey Responses by February 21, 2003

New York, Feb 13, 2003

The American National Standards Institute reminds ANSI members and other interested parties to respond to the February 3, 2003 letter and questionnaire regarding the Homeland Security Standards Panel (HSSP) by the February 21, 2003 deadline.

It is important that responses include the completed first-page questionnaire as well as a review and update (if necessary) of the draft list mapping standards developers to the fourteen critical sectors identified in the National Strategy for Homeland Security. All members, not just SDOs, are requested to respond to both the questionnaire and the draft mapping list. The vital input of ANSI members is needed to move swiftly forward on this very important initiative.

Anyone interested in receiving a copy of the questionnaire/survey, or for questions regarding the HSSP, please contact program manager Matt Deane (; 212-642-4992).
