Redesigned ANSI eStandards Store Debuts July 6, 2004

New York, Jul 06, 2004

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) proudly announces the relaunch of the eStandards Store (http://webstore.ansi.org). The improved design brings a new “look and feel” to the eSS, enhancing the user experience and making individual documents and standards collections easier to find and purchase.

New graphical elements, colors and layout link the design of the eSS with the ANSI Online webpages. “It is a priority for ANSI to offer our customers and constituents a consistent and pleasing online look and tone, from the informative pages on ANSI Online, to the functional tools of the eSS,” said Bob Feghali, vice president, business development, and chief information officer.

“The redesign of the eSS 'look and feel' is the latest in a series of valuable updates to the ANSI eStandards Store,” explained Rose Maginniss, ANSI director of electronic sales and marketing. “ANSI is committed to the continual development and delivery of standards-related products and services to support the needs of its customers,” she continued.

While the face of the eSS has changed, it still allows users to:

  • Search for standards using keywords
  • Select standards (Adobe Acrobat .PDF format) and place them in a "shopping cart"
  • Purchase selected standards online with a major credit card (Visa, MC or Amex)
  • Download the standards within 7 days of purchase
  • Customize an annual online eSubscription
