2002 Annual Report Now Available

New York, Aug 20, 2003

The 2002 Annual Report from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is now available.

With the theme One World, the 2002 Annual Report acknowledges the vast standardization network and its ability to unite people and industries from all corners of the globe. It documents ANSI’s achievements and financial activities over the last year, highlighting the Institute’s outreach efforts in various regions and sectors of the world, continued partnerships with government agencies and industry, the rollout of an improved membership structure, expansion of conformity assessment programs, and enhanced electronic services, including the relaunch of ANSI Online.

"The document is a useful almanac, showcasing ANSI’s pursuits and accomplishments towards the Institute’s mission of improving the global competitiveness of U.S. businesses and enhancing the quality of life for American citizens," said Dr. Mark W. Hurwitz, ANSI President and CEO.

Copies of the report were mailed directly to ANSI member contacts earlier this week. Additional copies are available upon request to the ANSI Public Relations team(tel: 212-642-4890; email: pr@ansi.org). The 2002 Annual Report is also available in an electronic format [click here to download].
