New Client Testimonial Videos Demonstrate the Value of ANSI Accreditation for Credentialing Programs

2/24/2014
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is proud to announce the release of two videos highlighting the advantages ANSI accreditation can bring to a credentialing organization or credentialing program. Each video features first-hand testimonials from representatives of prominent credentialing organizations or programs that have earned ANSI accreditation, and highlights the many ways in which ANSI accreditation helps to foster a strong U.S. workforce through quality credentialing. Additional videos focusing on other areas of ANSI accreditation are expected in the coming months.

The first two "Value of ANSI Accreditation" videos are available on ANSI's YouTube site.

Focusing on ANSI's Accreditation Program for Personnel Certification Bodies and Certificate Accreditation Program (ANSI-CAP), the videos allow ANSI clients to speak for themselves about how ANSI accreditation strengthens their programs. The advantages discussed include:

  • Improved structure, quality, and efficiency of a certification or certificate program
  • Cost reduction via streamlined processes
  • Increased government, industry, and public recognition and acceptance, domestically and internationally
  • Access to international standardization activities
  • Competitive advantage and market differentiation

ANSI sincerely thanks the following organizations for their participation in the videos:

  • Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD)
  • Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)
  • National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI)
  • National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP)
  • Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB)

ANSI administers a broad portfolio of third-party accreditation programs that recognize the competence of a range of conformity assessment bodies in accordance with guidelines and requirements defined in international standards. These programs are increasingly specified by local, state, and federal governments, and include organizations that certify products, personnel, processes, services, and systems; validate or verify greenhouse gas assertions; and issue education and training certificates. By adhering to a rigorous, internationally recognized process, ANSI ensures that its accreditation work conforms to the highest accreditation standard and represents the best practices in the field.
