Speakers Announced for ANSI July Event on Capitol Hill Highlighting Standards for 21st Century Infrastructure

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released its lineup of panelists and topics for a discussion of "Standards and 21st Century Infrastructure" on Monday, July 17, in Washington, DC. Scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Rayburn House Office Building Room 2167, the event will offer expert insights on the role of voluntary standards and conformity assessment in addressing infrastructure challenges and modernizing structures integral to the U.S. economy.

Following opening remarks from ANSI president and CEO S. Joe Bhatia, three panel discussions will feature a lineup of high-level standardization and government relations experts:

Panel I: Repairing, rebuilding and replacing aging infrastructure; focus on resilience

Panel 2: Modernizing and extending the life of infrastructure; transferring research to practices that support innovative new materials, technologies, and processes
