ANSI Launches Enhanced Online Resources

New York, Feb 01, 2007

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has announced the launch of a series of enhancements to its online tools and resources for members and constituents. Highlights of the new features include a customized “My ANSI” website, personal account management tools and enhanced security systems.

The upgrades provide registered members and designated contacts with greater administrative control over their personal and corporate accounts. Via a personalized, “My ANSI” website, member contacts have the ability to pay open invoices and member dues online and access their purchase history information. Additional key features include online event and member forum meeting registration, electronic membership applications and real-time member directory updates.

ANSI’s new identity management (IDM) software system enables users of the Institute’s web resources to access “Member Only” information and manage tasks with greater ease and security. Registered users can access all personal account and document library resources using a single login ID and password. The software’s self-service password management tool also allows users to retrieve a forgotten password or make changes to their existing code.

“These upgrades were taken to enhance the user experience with the Institute’s online member resources and to provide registered members with greater flexibility and control over their accounts,” said Brian Meincke, director of membership development. “Enhancements are ongoing, and we encourage site-users to share their comments and feedback about the site so that we can continue to tailor ANSI Online to best meet the needs of our members”

Questions, comments, or feedback on the enhancements may be directed to a member of the ANSI membership team (+1.212.642.8922;
